SOUTH CAROLINA PROPERTIES LOCATED IN

DISASTER AREAS ***REVISED 10/6/15***

 

The President has declared a disaster for the state of South Carolina due to recent severe storms, and flooding. Please see tables below of the affected counties.   Effective immediately, pursuant to the FEMA announcement dated October 5, 2015, where a major disaster was declared for the state of South Carolina, any loan where the appraisal was completed on or prior to the event dates of October 1, 2015 and continuing, a re‐inspection of the property by the original appraiser will be required. The appraiser must state that the property is free of any flooding and/or damage in direct relation to the recent severe storms and flooding.

 Must be done prior to the CTC being issued.

 **** Non-standard Appraisals such as Property Valuation Updates and PIWs are not allowed for 90 days after the disaster incident period end date. Regardless of DU findings a full 1004 appraisal must be completed during this period.
